This Russian-made device allows you to carry out not only conventional TES-therapy procedures, but also implements additional features.
With the help of the device it is possible:
1. enter the patient’s audiogram data into the device’s memory or determine the hearing thresholds at standard frequencies directly on the device itself in real time;
2. Together with TES or separately from TES, perform the procedure of acoustic stimulation of the patient’s hearing organ (i.e., give an acoustic load – AN) with pure tones, with different sound duration and intensity of each tone, corresponding to the relief of the audiogram. The available results of clinical studies, confirmed by the analysis of the positive dynamics of short-latency auditory evoked potentials in patients with SHL, show high efficiency of the combined effect of TES and AN in almost 75% of patients. At the same time, the manifestation of the effect in patients who previously received TES-therapy without AN without effect should be noted.

History of the "TPP Center"
In 1991 in I.P.Pavlov Institute of Physiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the basis of the Sector of Transcranial Electrical Stimulation Mechanisms, headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor V.P. Lebedev, the scientific and practical center “Protective Mechanisms of the Brain” was created for the industrial production of TES-therapy devices. For six years, under the license of the authors of the method, the devices were produced under the brand name “ETRANS” at the Yaroslavl radio Plant. In 1996, the scientific and practical center was transformed into the TPP Center LLC, which began assembling the devices «TRANSAIR» (Transcranial electrical stimulator for Analgesia, Immunity and Repair) on its own production base.
